• “Are you finally seeing reason with Dad?” Ethan asked as I entered his car. “And why can’t you take your car? It’s just rotting in the driveway.”
• “I said already that I’m scared of driving. If you won’t take me then I can just ask Dad.” I looked out the window with a pout.
• “What’s wrong with you now? Are you really not over Xander?” I felt his eyes on me as he started the car but I refused to look at him. I could not look at him. If I did, I may remember the things I wanted to forget.
