• It didn't go without saying that upon making their way down the stairs, heads turned their way. Sophia knew that who they were really gawking at was Elise, and that was more than okay with her. She loved knowing that she was dating the prettiest girl there was.
• "White," Leopold's head turned to one of his colleagues as he landed his hand with a hard slap across his shoulder. "I must say, with all due respect, but your daughter gets even more beautiful every time I see her."
