Chapter 209

• Sophia takes the rag that Regina hands her and wipes her face before she continues to help. The scent of apples lingered in the air and it was heavenly. Step after step, finally the pie was done, and it was time to place it in the oven.
• "Alright, just make a few incisions on the top of the pie." Said Regina, nodding as Sophia followed instructions well. "Good. It's always good for the apples to breathe as it bakes." She takes a couple of pinches of sugar and sprinkles it on top before she places the pie inside the oven, setting the temperature for three hundred and seventy-five degrees. "And now, we wait."
• "How long does it take to bake?" Said Sophia.
