• There was a surprising gaze that sparkled out of Sophia's green eyes, but also- maybe- a realization of her own? She couldn't tell.
• To her surprise and Sophia's, Regina did something she never thought she would have the courage to do. Unexpectedly and without warning, before she allowed Sophia to say anything else, she brought her lips right to Sophia's, pressing them against her own, feeling how thin they felt as she kissed them.
• Sophia's heartbeat quickened inside of her chest, her eyes growing wide in surprise, but evidently not enough to pull away from such a kiss that had been given to her. Whatever part of her wanted to fight it, her eyes slowly closed, her lips slowly gave in, and her arms pulled the brunette impossibly closer, closing whatever little distance they had between them.
