Chapter 426

Sophia wasn't wrong. She had promised her a tour of the apartment, plus a breathtaking view of the city. Cars could be heard honking out in the distance but it was unlike any view she had yet seen of New York at night. Sophia observed Regina from the kitchen, seeing her quietly sip her wine and seem lost in thought. Un-Break My Heart was next on her playlist, and Sophia quickly made her way into her office to search for a particular photo album, taking it outside to the balcony with her.
Regina's eyes fell on the album Sophia held in her hands as it was handed to her.
"This album is special compared to the rest. I was saving it to give it to you on your next birthday after everything happened but, well…" Sophia
