• Days later, once Regina was sure Sophia was back home with her parents. Regina and Victor strapped themselves in their seats on their flight out to New York. Regina decided to lose herself in a book she had picked up at the airport, but that was simply a distraction from feeling a bit guilty.
• A vibe Victor caught up on as he turned to her. "Regina," he touched her arm softly until she looked up at him. "You know, you could have stayed."
• Regina smiled a little and placed her hand over Victor's. "I'm fine."
