- Like an alarm that you could never turn off for good, no matter how many times you hit the damn snooze button.
- "Are we clear, dear?" He hissed right before his wife's face.
- There was no way Regina could respond, not even by nodding her head in forced agreement. Not when Leopold's arm was squeezing against her throat tighter and tighter until he practically heard her gag a little for a breath of oxygen, followed by a sharp gasp once he finally released her and went about his nightly routine within their bedroom as if what he had just done was the most natural thing in the world.
