Chapter 124

• Sophia made her way out of the bedroom, down the hall and down the stairs. She peeked into the living room, not seeing any sign of Regina anywhere. The thought of her being asleep in her bedroom crossed her mind, so she let her search go and immediately made her way into the kitchen for a glass of water.
• Reaching for a glass, Sophia moved over to the fridge where she pulled out a pitcher of ice cold water before tipping it over the glass. The water sloshes on the way in, and the lights of the kitchen flicker on, causing Sophia to jolt around, her eyes staring wide-eyed at- "Regina." She breathes out her name like her lungs depended on it.
• "Good evening, Ms. Nolan." The brunette's body is leaning against the entrance of the kitchen, and it's only when she moves that Sophia's eyes fall on the half bottle of Jack Daniel's.
