• The station won't run itself, Sheriff." Said Ruby, her typing coming to a halt.
• "You're right about that." David placed his hand against Emma's shoulder. "Anyway, I'd like you two to meet a new addition to our team. This is Sophia Nolan, my kid for all intents and purposes. She'll be working here part-time, helping Bill out with security detail."
• "Finally, someone capable. Bill could surely use the help." Ruby stood from her seat and stretched out a hand to Sophia. "Welcome, Sophie! I'm Ruby Lucas. I work the front desk, dispatcher, filing, that sort of thing. Unless of course we are short staffed, then I'm out there with the rest." She grins.
