Chapter 323
- Green eyes took in the quiet of the house, the warmth radiating off of a few candles that had been placed on the center of the breakfast wooden table. A pair of three candles, followed by the fireplace, burning and crackling around in the darkness and silence. The fort Sophia had built was gone. But so was the center coffee table. Sophia looked over behind the couch and wall, finding the table was still placed behind it. In its place was a white rug, which Sophia didn't have to step on to it to know how soft it was.
- "Regina?" Sophia called out, feeling her heart pounding inside of her chest as she caught sight of Regina coming from the darkness of the back bedroom.
- "Right on time," Said Regina, glancing at the clock that read nine sharp, resting on top of the fireplace.
