But, she couldn't turn Sophia down when out of the kindness of her heart, she wanted to show her a good time. There was nothing bad about that.
This was ridiculous. Regina chuckled to herself as she paced around the room, which seemed to be closing in on her with each step she took. This was absolutely ridiculous. If Sophia was asking her out to dinner it wasn't because this was a date. Absolutely not. She wasn't betraying her daughter in any way or form. This wasn't a big deal. She just needed to remind herself that Sophia didn't see her with the eyes of someone that was remotely interested in her.
Suddenly, Regina began to wonder to herself if she ever looked at Sophia with an interest sparkling in her eyes. The very thought freaked her out even more, because what kind of woman would Sophia think she was if she knew she was crushing on her? Her daughter's girlfriend, of all people!
