Chapter 203

• “That’s great. Come on in already.” He invited as he took a step away from the doorway and gestured for me to come in. I breathed out a deep breath and accepted the invitation, trying to keep my gaze forward and not sideways as I walked into the apartment. The sound of the door closing and locking behind me made me jolt and breath out a stuttered pant, as I turned my head around to stare at him, only to see his eyes on my ass.
• “Uh, great weather?” I stuttered out because I didn’t know what else to say, and his intense gaze was making it hard for me to process my thoughts in my head.
• “Yeah, really great weather.” He agreed with me with a nod of his head, and then he walked towards me and past me, and the breath that I hadn’t realized I had begun to hold, whooshed out of me in a sigh. I followed him into the sitting room and then I decided to sit on a single couch on seeing him standing at the bar. I didn’t want him to sit close to me today and stop my brain from functioning properly, like the way he had done at the office, and which had led to us sharing a deep kiss.
