• Nate’s POV
• He pushed out of his seat after some time, as he began to clear off the table. I got up as well and offered assistance, which he tried declining at first, but it wasn’t like I bothered listening to him. We were done eith the table in no time, and we both headed to the hallway together. I noticed the minute we both slowed down our footsteps, probably because the both of us didn’t know what to be apart from each other just yet, and the fact that we could both relate to that at the same time, made a satisfied and flustered feeling gather in my stomach.
• I slide my feet into my shoes and did the ropes up, and then I stood at my full height, to glance up at him. With the extra inch of my shoes, I was almost standing at his height, with only a very tiny inch difference. I shoved my hands into my pocket and let out a small breath, as I began to speak.
