Chapter 151

• Nate’s POV
• I pocketed my phone as I made my way into the elevator leading to the highest floor here at the company. It was a Monday morning and surprisingly, I had ended up waking up extra easier than I expected, it was probably because I had ended up falling asleep ealier than usual last night. I moved my teeth over my bottom lip and shoved both my hands into my pocket as I slowly allowed my head to drop back and hit the walls of the elevator. We were barely two floors before the door of the elevator started to slide open, I knew that it was way too good to be true for me to be allowed to ride the elevator all on my own, knowing just how populated our company was.
• I nodded my head at the matured looking man and turned him out almost immediately, the man began to make some comments about the weather but I refused to indulge him because I wasn’t in the mood to start small conversations at this very moment. It wasn’t like the man was a complete unknown orrson, I’ve seen him a couple or times around the company, and knew damn well that he wasn’t on that low a rank like most people are here at the company.
