• Nate’s POV
• I made sure I was way behind my dad’s car because I wanted him to arrive at the destination before me, and with the slow pace I was currently driving, I was going to be arriving way later than he’d be expecting.
• I might try to convince myself that I was currently stalling because of my father, but deep down, I knew that the actual reason was because of Jack. I knew it was completely fruitless for me to be doing this because I was going to be coming face to face with him today, no matter what I do to try to burn time by driving at such a slow pace.
