• Nate’s POV
• But then please, what had happened between us had literally happened this morning, surely he wasn’t that dumb to not be able to have figure out that something serious had happened to me and that I might need some time to cool off and might not want to speak to people throughout the whole of today, and that even if I’d want to speak to people, it most definitely wouldn’t be him, because our relationship hadn’t ever been good from the very start.
• I carded my fingers through my hair and glanced out the window, watching as my eyes locked with a woman’s almost immediately. She was sitting in the passenger side of the car which she was currently in, and her side of the window was completely rolled open, the way the driver’s part of my car’s window was completely rolled open as well. I watched as her lips stretched out at the sides of her face and a wide grin took over her face almost immediately and I watched as she also started to wave her hand at me before I could blink.
