It was all just starting to make sense and I just couldn’t believe my ears as I listened to all what was pouring out from Nate’s mouth, while he stared at some spot at the left side of the sitting room, in order to not to stare at me, that was obvious enough.
Never in my life could I have been able to think of all what Nate had just said, and I felt something start to hum around the inside of my chest. Despite how much I had imagined this happening, how I had imagined it happening that he had also liked me back then, nothing, I mean– nothing had been able to prepare me for this particular moment thst I felt my breath freeze at a particular point as he continued to speak.
