• “Did you hear what I just said, Nathaniel? It’s going to be actually great.” He continued to speak after about a few minutes when I still remained silent. I sat up in my seat and leaned forward until I was mirroring his posture by placing my hands on the table as well, and then I started to shake my head before starting to speak.
• “Actually no, I didn’t.” I replied in a voice void of any emotion and continued before he could start to say a thing. “You know what? Can we not talk about this yet? Perhaps after we get back from signing the said contracts, once that one is completely out of the way, then we can start to talk about other things.” I breathed out and puffed out a deep breath once I was done, and Eric chose the very next moment to start to speak.
