Chapter 184

• Nate’s POV
• I chewed on my bottom lip and bounced my legs a little, feeling nervous energy flowing through my veins in that moment, and once again, I found myself swallowing emptily for the hundredth time this evening. It’s been over two minutes since Jack had left to go get me some water in the kitchen which I had pointed him at, and till now, I was still here nervously waiting for him, as a hundred scenarios crossed my mind.
• I knew deep down, that there was no denying the intensity I had recognized inside his eyes as burning lust when he had been gripping my chin in such a way that made my insides do thousands of flips in a fleeting second. I was more nervous about the fact that we were both definitely going to have to talk about the next thing on the list, the next thing which directly followed the previous explanation which i had explained, some time ago, it was what was going to explain the reason as to why I had gone to him that night with such an intensity, and I was sure I wasn’t ready to talk about thst to Jack yet.
