• “Dad?” I called out once I glanced back up at him and Eric to find them laughing at something and I started to feel like my skin was pricking with irritation as I watched the two of them converse really easily, something I was sure my dad and I could never be able to pull off without it getting awkward – and that was if we didn’t stert shouting at each other and exchanging cuss words.
• The both of them turned towards me at the same time but I completely ignored Eric and focused my whole attention on my fsther as I started to speak. “You said something about the name of our companies get merged something, right?” As soon as I had spoken finish, it felt like I had just reminded him of something important because he started to wrap up the drawing of tne chsrt to place it back beneath his desk before he’s still down on his seat and started to glance through the files in the next second.
