• Alessandra watched the elevator doors close and something inside her shattered. From the look he had given her before disappearing, her intuition told her that he was leaving, that he would go without speaking or giving her an explanation. Once again, she had considered the possibility that what they had experienced was real and believed to see a light at the end of the tunnel, but it was not so, she was wrong, again, he had played with her, he had gotten what he wanted and now he was leaving without caring about her feelings and her broken heart. Suddenly, oxygen began to feel scarce, bile rose in her throat, a bitter taste settled on her palate, a sudden dizziness shook her, her vision blurred, and she was not aware of anything else.
