• After consummating their first night together, Alessandra didn't take more than five seconds to fall deeply asleep, her eyelids suddenly heavy as she surrendered to Morpheus, sinking into total darkness and ignoring everything around her. The pain of losing her virtue had left her exhausted, drained, and without energy for anything else.
• Dominic stayed watching her as if she were a rarity, even though his body was already in complete calm, his heart beating wildly as he realized he was the first man in the life of that beautiful woman who lay asleep beside him. The feeling he had for her grew that night, not precisely because she was a virgin, but because of the way she surrendered to him, without reservation, trusting him with something very precious in her life and he had no intention of letting her down, much less causing her to regret it.
