Chapter 21

• "Why are you so afraid of me, Alessandra? Do you think I will hurt you? Or what's going on?" He wanted to know, captivated by her closeness, by her lips, by her scent, and as always, by her beautiful green eyes. He leaned her against the railing and left her trapped in his arms.
• Her breath caught in her throat and her nerves exploded even more when the main lights went out, only the lights from the hallway to the rooms managed to illuminate them.
• "Oh my God," she whispered very softly, seized by panic and emotions. Dominic managed to hear her and knowing her like that caused him to feel a jolt of electricity throughout his body. The almost darkness didn't help either. Damn, he was just a tiny movement away from stealing a kiss from her, he couldn't hold back any longer.
