• He fell suddenly silent at that statement, because by her tone of voice, she was taking it for granted and he couldn't even answer that himself anymore. Did he really just want one night? Could he actually be a one-woman man and not a damn bastard like his father? Because precisely for that reason, he had never had a stable relationship with anyone, because he knew he was a libertine, a man of the world, of many women, and he didn't want to do to anyone what his father had done to his mother. He had seen her suffer firsthand and was not willing to repeat that story once again. That's why he was only interested in sex without commitment and fun.
