Chapter 29

• They arrived at the emporium at 9 pm, Alessandra went up to the offices only to leave some documents and her iPad with the notes from that night. She wanted to leave everything in order for the next day and took advantage of Dominic staying in the reception with the brothers.
• As soon as she entered the prominent office, memories flooded back to her. She walked to the desk and stared out the large window overlooking the nighttime city. She experienced the taste of his mouth on hers as if she were living it in the flesh at that moment, the pleasurable sensation of his arms around her body, enveloping her with that strength, with that need, God, how she loved feeling him like that, she was falling madly in love with him, it was already late, she had involved her feelings without even being able to avoid it.
• A pleasant warmth was felt on her back and soon she found herself cornered between the desk and hands that did not touch her, but, recognizing that scent, she knew who it was. She turned in those strong arms and looked into his eyes, instantly deciphering what he intended. Dominic couldn't contain himself at the sight of her and, taking her by surprise, stole a powerful kiss from her. He wanted to confront her about David, but with what right, he felt powerless, he felt annoyed, even more so, seeing her with that coat on, he wanted to rip it off, he didn't want her to have anything from that man, absolutely nothing. He trapped her in his arms without giving her any escape, kissed her fervently, almost possessively, and her returning the intensity did not help him at all. The two sighed with the force of that kiss, something strange was happening between them and they could hardly control it anymore.
