• Alessandra heard his pleading voice when he asked her that, and she shuddered, "Leave my brother, please," she hadn't hallucinated. He really said those words, but why was he asking her for something like that? What did he really want from her? She was never going to offer him what he needed, she was sure of that. In fact, she knew she was wrong to respond to his kiss, yet she couldn't resist. For a moment, that plea caught her off guard, however, Dominic took care to intensify the contact, which didn't allow her to think clearly, nor to separate even a single centimeter from him, instead, she felt him bring her closer and closer to his body. She felt like she couldn't get enough of him, of his kisses, he was an expert in the art and she was falling completely for his conquering tricks.
• Dominic didn't know at what moment, he, HIM, asked her for something like what he had just told her a few seconds ago, the words had come out of his mouth without giving him time to even conceive them and it was already too late. He had told her that he didn't want her with his brother, he wanted her with him, but in what way? Would he give up his whole lifestyle for just one woman? His mind couldn't think about it, he was going crazy having her in his arms and kissing her like that. Almighty God, he couldn't hide what he was starting to feel, he had to accept it, he needed her desperately, his insides and his whole being were crying out for her. His mouth didn't want to let go of those luscious and exquisite lips. He was running out of air but refused to let her go. His fingers didn't want to leave that hair that was also driving him crazy with its silkiness and delicious scent. How could he continue pretending not to feel anything? How could he listen to reason, if it was more than clear that he had completely lost himself with this woman? Having her close was his pain, his downfall, and his greatest desire, because he couldn't stay away from her... it was torture.
