Chapter 81

• He stumbled as he fell to his knees a few feet from her, just outside of reaching distance.
• "Cielo," Cain called out while she refused to bend away from Sephtis. Hearing Cain's voice seemed to break something inside of Sephtis. He let out a pained cry as he lurched toward her. She cried out in pain as his claws sliced through her calf as he tackled her and pinned her against the side of the SUV. She punched his eye to distract him while he opened his mouth to reveal his canines to her. Quickly, she stabbed the knife into his neck as she kicked her knee up; striking his thigh.
• While he was distracted, she hit him with her aura, stunning him enough to take a step back and drop her to her feet. The moment her feet touched the ground, she kicked out and struck his tendon with her heel. Sephtis moved quickly and went to strike her face with his claws; acting on his anger to try to kill her. She hit him again with her aura and kicked up, hitting his solar plexus. As he hunched over to strike and bite her in retaliation, she snagged the knife from his neck.
