Chapter 29

  • She mutes her music and texts back; more annoyed than anything. She hates it when Xander is right. "I swear Dean, leave me the hell alone." She knows it's not him, but she'd rather appear naïve for now. She tucks her phone away, rolling her eyes as she takes a sip of her coffee.
  • Utilizing her werewolf-enhanced hearing, she detects a low, sharp growl from her left. Males. They're too hotheaded to make effective stalkers. From the corner of her eye, she spots a male with platinum white hair cropped closely to his head. He's tall, just over six feet, with a well-built physique, clad in a brown shirt and jeans — blending in with mundane colors. He appears to be glaring at his phone while leaning against a tree, his back to her. Interestingly, while she can't smell him, she can sense his beast.
  • Her phone vibrates, so she checks it. "Don't call me that disgusting piece of trash." She smirks and snaps a picture of him, then texts it back to him with the caption, "At least Dean doesn't hide."
