• "What's all this, Cain?" Cielo inquires, her breath hitching as she spots a bottle of red wine and a pair of glasses neatly arranged on a blanket. Her heart races and a wave of warmth washes over her.
• His laughter holds a hint of mischief, sending a shiver down her spine. "A little celebration for the end of your finals. It's a simple gesture, but it's all I could manage," he explains.
