• Without a backward glance, she swings the doors open and quickly slips into the corridor. Just as she rounds the corner, she collides with something sturdy. An enchanting aroma of pine and cinnamon envelops her, causing her knees to buckle.
• As she stumbles back, a pair of solid arms envelop her, keeping her upright. Lifting her gaze, her heart almost leaps into her throat as she meets his beautiful eyes. Her cheeks heat with a deep blush as her heart flutters. Cain.
