• Cielo is startled awake by the harsh sunlight. As she moves to shield her eyes, a hand intercepts hers. She immediately recognizes Cain's familiar scent, which soothes her. "What happened?" she questions him, a hint of embarrassment in her voice. Retrospection is crystal clear, and it's obvious she's the one who has erred.
• "I discovered a white lycan injecting you with Wolfsbane. I managed to chase him away and bring you here. Dr. Ariah visited and assessed you. The rogue had given you a tiny dose of Wolfsbane, designed to last only a few hours. You had a deep bite wound on your back, and your legs were severely cut at the back. Your other injuries are minor and should heal by morning. Dr. Ariah will come back to check on you then," Cain explains.
• Cielo groans in discomfort, her body echoing Dr. Ariah's diagnosis. "She seems to have hit the nail on the head. I'm still trying to put together what happened."
