This enraged him, and he started to physically assault her, relentlessly criticizing her worthlessness. He insisted that she submit to him and recognize him as the true Lycan King. She was so intoxicated that she firmly resisted him, and his relentless beating continued until she lost consciousness.
- Upon regaining consciousness, she found herself in a pack hospital, her face a bloody, disfigured mess. She was hooked up to numerous machines, her jaw wired shut. It was then Lindly revealed that the beast who had attacked her was named Sephtis, who had threatened her life if she didn't help him claim the Alpha Princess. She had managed to call for help from a beast belonging to one of her friends, which ultimately saved them. By the time help arrived, her attacker had vanished.
