Chapter 34

• A loud buzz from her intercom startled her. All three boys were lounging on the couch watching TV, so it couldn't be one of them. She had a hunch about who it was. Strolling over, she pressed the intercom button and spoke in a light, airy tone. "If this is Dean, you can take a hike."
• "Cielo, please let me up," Dean pleaded. "We can sort this out."
• "I'm not letting you mark me. Go find another mate," she retorted, half-tempted to tranquilize him and ship him off to Madagascar.
