Chapter 106

• Mara halted in her run and glanced over her shoulder. She began to circle and started panting excitedly. Cielo sat up in the back of their mind and all she could hear from Mara was, "Rajin." She started racing toward home, and that's when Cielo realized they were miles from home.
• Mara covered the distance quickly and Cielo retook control of their body while she came out of the shift, and walked out of the woods. Cain was leaning over the railing and smiled when he saw her.
• He met her at the bottom of the stairs with a long shirt that dropped to her knees. After she put it on, she jumped so she could wrap her arms around his neck and give him a long kiss. His arms wrapped around her waist and she felt him lean into their kiss.
