Chapter 97
- Jacob sneaked behind one of the trees and transformed into his wolf, dashing towards the location where the witch had buried herself in order to avoid being spotted by the others. Finally, she realizes that she is being pursued by someone who is intent on hurting her and flees the scene. She swiftly reverses direction in order to determine who is posing a threat to her safety and security.
- His pupils were drawn closer together as he focused his eyesight in her direction as she waved her wand in his way. He was able to focus on her because of his concentrated attention in her direction. The fact that she made every effort to avoid them on two separate occasions did not prevent him from successfully evading every fireball she launched at him on both occasions. Because the evil witch foresaw where he would land and forced him to be hurled an extremely long distance away from where they were standing when the third attempt was made, his three efforts to jump all failed, as previously mentioned.
- He was forced to weep and out for aid as he was plummeting to the ground when one of the tree trunks crashed with his back, causing him to be in terrible discomfort and cry out for help. During his wolf's howl, a massive amount of blood splattered on the ground around him and poured into the earth under him, completely covering the surrounding area and blocking his eyesight. It was still exceedingly uncomfortable, even if it was possible to endure the agony.
