Chapter 35
- "Please do not do that!"
- Suddenly, Eleanor jumped from the couch, her pulse racing and her breath coming in fast in rapid succession. When she looked down at her face through the window's reflection, she could see cold perspiration pouring down the side of her face and tears streaming down her cheeks. She sat her feet on the floor and bowed her head to allow more oxygen to enter her lungs and bloodstream. Her elbows were resting on her knees, and one of her hands was resting on her thigh.
- "It was all a dream," she reminded herself as she attempted to regain her composure. She must have been under a lot of stress as a result of all that had happened in her life since dreams were starting to haunt her. She took a few steps back and realized she was in the living room, which was where she had fallen asleep the night before.
