Chapter 92

While Nicholas and his pal were leaned against a nearby tree root, where they had been enjoying their nibbles just minutes before, Nick yelled. "It is done," they both agreed before returning to their snacking to continue their conversation. "Thank you," they both expressed gratitude.
Melinda noticed that the circle had formed even in front of her, so she took a few steps back and examined what was happening. It was a wise decision for her to assign the responsibility to them because, based on how much of the yarn in front of her was uncurled, it appeared to be completely unaware of the fact that the entire tunnel below her was enormous.
With her eyes closed, she closed her hands around the yarn in front of her and sat down with her legs crossed and her wrist supported by her knees once again. As she strolled through the forest, the breeze caressed her skin, the sun's rays warmed her soul, the solidity of the earth beneath her boots, and the fresh scent of water aroma carried by the air from a nearby river were all present to surround her.
