Chapter 26
- In the living room, Eleanor was seated on the couch. Her knees were becoming increasingly weak as she remained there. Her thoughts were racing through her head.
- As a result, she became increasingly concerned about what would happen if Zachary discovered her true identity. Was he planning to assassinate her in return for the murder of his father? Would he seek retaliation against her? She was aware of, and could sense, that his heart was still racked with agony and hopelessness.
- She was well aware of his feelings of resentment, but she could not bring herself to be enraged at her parents since she was still not entirely aware of the events that occurred back then. Apart from that, whatever happened back then, she was only a child of her parents, and she was completely innocent of whatever had taken place.
