Chapter 24

• Eleanor was taken completely by surprise when Zachary revealed his surprise to her. She couldn't believe what she was seeing when she discovered that he was prepared to invite Drake on her behalf since she had expressed an interest in the music that Drake had played earlier.
• She was certain that he despised Drake for a variety of reasons; nonetheless, he still invited him, not only to perform another song for them, but also to join them for dinner. Despite the fact that she was unaware of what was going on around her due to the fact that she was not up to date on everything, she was not naive and realized that there was much more to the situation than the explanation Zachary had provided for it. However, despite her lack of conviction, she just went with the flow because she realized that it was what was to be done.
• She was very aware that Zachary had picked up on her astonishment on her face since she had not done a particularly good job of concealing it. She was quite certain that her eyes, as well as her lips, had widened in response to her parted lips. She had wanted to continue the chat with him, but events conspired against her, as the door unexpectedly opened, stopping the two of them in the middle of their discussion. The entry of two guys was signaled by the opening of the front door. She was certain that the other individual was Drake Range; however, she was unaware of the identity of the second guy alongside him. According to her assumptions, it might either be the management of the establishment or the manager of Drake as an artist.
