Chapter 30

• Eleanor was surprised to see that Marcus actually helped her while she was in the grocery store. For the time that she was with Zachary, she had never been close with Marcus nor was they talking for much. They were also never left alone by Zachary, and that might be the reason as to why she had not properly warmed up to him yet up until now.
• After looking at everything that they had bought, it could be seen that it was too much for Eleanor to carry it all home by herself. Since the moment she was grabbing groceries from the shelves, she had been wondering how she would be able to bring it all home. After they paid, she looked at the one box and three huge plastic bags that contained what she had bought. She could not help but place both of her hands on her waist and heave a sigh as she looked at it with contemplation.
• “I will drive you home. Come on,” she was startled upon hearing the voice of Marcus who had volunteered to bring her home. She wanted to resist, but before she could even speak up, he had already carried all of those things alone and started to walk towards the parking lot. Eleanor was astonished as she could not believe that he was able to carry it all. He had the two bags on his left hand, one bag on his right, while both of his hands were carrying the box. ‘He is extremely strong,’ she thought to herself.
