Chapter 33
- Despite her best efforts, Eleanor could not figure out what she was supposed to accomplish. She had already completed preparing and arranging the food on the table, but there was already a shameless lady sitting and eating there before any of them had even been able to take their places at the dinner table. In truth, the two guys who were there in the living room had not yet been notified of the situation. At this point, she was debating whether she should proceed to the living room to alert Zachary and Marcus that the supper had been completed, or whether she should wait for the woman to finish and then leave the area.
- She leaned against the post of the dining room's entry, her arms crossed over her chest, cursing Zachary in her head. She was extremely irritated by the situation Zachary had put her in. 'You asshole, you! You would better have a good idea before you come in here and try to solve your own fucking issue. It is imperative that this woman prepares herself to answer any questions Marcus may have for her if he sees her, because once he has seen her and learns about the changes in our lives, I will be completely disinterested in anything else.' She thought to herself as she shot the unconcerned woman with a lethal stare. The woman appeared to be starving from wherever she had come from, as she gorged herself on the meal in front of her as if there were no future to come. The notion crossed Eleanor's mind as she formed a thin line between her lips. 'Indeed, she is shameless,' she thought to herself.
- After just a few seconds, she stood up properly in an attempt to walk to the living room and summon the two guys, despite the fact that she was already hungry and in desperate need of a meal herself. When she turned around to exit the eating area, she was gently nudged to the side at the exact same moment that the manly aroma of Zachary's favorite perfume hit her in the face.
