• When she recognized the sound of Zachary's voice in her own voice, she was taken aback for a brief while. Due to the fact that they were outnumbered in terms of strength by the bulk of those that assaulted them, she chose not to transition into her wolf form and instead chose to continue fighting as a vampire instead of changing.
• While she was first surprised by the fact that a witch was engaged in combat with Zachary, her confusion was quickly dispelled when she was reminded of Marcus's hiring of a dark witch to fight against them.
• The fact is that no matter how powerful a person may be, that person cannot fight against magic in a blind manner. Instead of pausing to ponder her options, she took a side step and seized the hand of the vampire with whom she was now engaged in fight.
