Chapter 32

• When Eleanor looked up, she was met with the piercing gaze that Zachary had directed at her when she had had the confidence to speak back to him. She stared at him intently for a few moments, swallowing the invisible lump that had formed in her throat, before taking a deep breath and summoning all of the courage she could muster in order to maintain their eye contact and give the impression that she was not too much of a coward to back away from his stare.
• Within a minute, Zachary had already leaned in close to her, closing the distance between them as their lips met. Even though Eleanor wanted to protest, she was overcome by the overwhelming sensation that was coursing through her body, especially after Zachary took the initiative to insert his tongue inside of her mouth while she was gradually beginning to kiss him back with the same intensity as he was giving her. When she reached Zachary's muscular chest, she moved her hand carefully till it reached him. Increasingly delicate and soft, Zachary's lips and movements caused Eleanor to submit to him and reciprocate affectionately towards him; this time, she caved in and recognized the reality that she had genuinely missed his kisses.
• "Oops... my apologies. I didn't mean to disturb,” Marcus mockingly said as he went inside and saw them kissing each other. With a mocking sneer on his face, he even raised both of his arms up to the heavens. He seemed to be apologetic for interrupting, but it was clear that he was more interested in ridiculing them for engaging in such behavior in a public section of the house.
