Chapter 57

• Christian was standing in front of us with a smile, his parents a few steps behind, greeting some people. I stand up, trying not to show my nervousness, although he noticed because he took my hand and gave it a slight squeeze to give me courage.
• "Ready?" he asks as he sees his parents approaching.
