• "She wants the wedding to not be completely white but with a combination of some color," one of the girls on the team spoke. "She left us some options to demonstrate in two days."
• "This girl is a complete brat," Mike complained, sighing. "She's asked for changes to the dress several times."
• The girl was the daughter of some politician or celebrity, I honestly didn't know, but she seemed to think she could have everything her way, making us work multiple times on the same thing because nothing satisfied her. So we were forced to do it until she gave the final yes. It was because of this wedding that I hardly spent any time at my desk next to Christian's office. We spent part of the day making combinations with small samples of white fabric and the fabrics she requested for the combinations, which were shades of blue, pink, and even gold.
