Chris took charge of ordering only wine for the moment, as it didn't seem like we were going to have a normal meal. My nervousness was becoming increasingly noticeable as I searched for something to keep my hands busy, playing with the napkin while trying to think of an explanation to give her and trying to figure out how she found out about my past relationship with Alexander.
