Chapter 34
- Arriving home, I received a message from Ethan saying that everything had gone well, making the worry about Christian's sister disappear. At least now I know it wasn't a date that would end in some kind of prank or something like that. I first walk to Jay's room, noticing that he was completely asleep. I lean for a moment on the door frame, watching him sleep for a few seconds. It was so strange to have him at home, and even though I was the younger sister, sometimes the roles change. I take a deep breath, closing the door to go to my room for my pajamas to take a shower. I wanted to get rid of the feeling of being tossed by the waves.
- Coming out with wet hair and the fruity scent of shampoo, I walk to my room almost running when I hear the sound of my phone answering almost instantly and putting it on speaker.
- "How did it go?" I ask instantly, closing the door with a lock.
