Chapter 30

• Since breakfast, Christian started spending a lot of the afternoon and evening at my house; only eating or playing video games with my brother. It was strange to see how well those two had managed to get along and now it seemed like they were more like brothers than me with Jason.
• "They get along too well, don't you think?" Allie asks, leaning on the kitchen island.
• "Yes," I respond without being distracted from the food I was making. "Can you get the plates?"
