Chapter 10

• The next morning, I took a few extra minutes in the room while debating whether I should open the letter or not. In the end, I decided not to and tucked it into my suitcase. When I went downstairs, I realized that everyone was already waiting for me, so I hung my head and embarrassedly got into the van followed by Bornout, who glanced at me for a few seconds before giving the order to take us to the airport. On the way, I sent a message to Allie asking her to come to my house in the afternoon.
• "Everything okay?" I heard Bornout's voice, causing me to look up from my phone to see him.
• "Yes, sir," I replied.
