• Since I had nowhere to go, I spent the whole afternoon at his parents' house talking about almost anything that came to mind, and even Morgan joined the conversation although he left when his boyfriend's barrage of questions began. I said goodbye to everyone as I got into the van, letting Ethan drive me.
• "Do you know where he went?"
